How Praize works

Ask in your own voice.
Record your request instead of typing it. Praize writes it out word by word, and translates it for someone who prays in another language.
Someone prays for you, out loud.
A friend opens your request and records a prayer over it, with your name in it. You keep every prayer to play again on the hard days.
When God answers, share the praise.
Mark the request answered and say what God did. Everyone who prayed for it hears how it ended.

Why Praize

Most prayer apps give you a list to read. Praize gives you a person's voice.

Why I built Praize

I was living in Estonia, a long way from home, at one of the lowest points of my life. One day my brother called. He said, hey, God put you on my heart. Then he told me, “It is under great pressure that pearls are formed.”

That call didn't change what I was going through. But it did change my heart. Not long after, I rededicated my life to Christ.

I think about that call every time someone says they'll pray for me. Praize is the place where you get to hear it. I build it myself, from Tallinn, and I give God the credit for the idea.

Questions people ask

Is Praize free?

Yes. Asking for prayer, praying, and listening are free. Supporting Praize is optional and never changes who prays for you.

Who hears my request?

Only the people you choose for that request: just you, your prayer list, a small group, your church, or anyone who prays on Praize.

Do I have to use my voice?

Yes. Requests and prayers are spoken, because hearing a person is the point. Praize writes out every recording, so you can read it too.

What if we speak different languages?

Praize writes out your request and translates it, so someone who prays in another language understands every word.

Can I delete what I shared?

Yes. You can delete your account and everything in it from Settings, under Privacy and data.

Which phones does it run on?

iPhone and Android. Praize is in public beta on both.
